The hospitality programme at University of Donja Gorica in collaboration with Vatel International Business School, was established in 2016 to provide premium hotel and tourism management training and prepare students to become leader managers in the international hospitality industry. The school is located right in the capital city Podgorica.
Capital city of Montenegro, not too pretentious on a first glimpse, acquired its formal status from the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje in 1946.
In the twentieth century it was known as Titograd. It’s perfect location in the valley of Zeta and on the banks of Morača River allows for a fast and easy access to the Adriatic Coast, as well as the highest mountain peaks and National Parks - Skadar Lake and Prokletije.
Podgorica is well-known for its hospitality, great bars and restaurants offer, wide boulevards and long sunny days. Its architectural style reflects mainly the post-war socialist realism with numerous modern edifices customized and adapted to the 21st century challenges.
The dynamic development in recent years has attracted a large number of people coming from all the parts of the country, especially the young population which now account for the majority of Podgorica’s citizens. This tendency reflects the patchwork of Montenegrin demographics.
